QUICKFIT® Spherical Cup Joint
- Complies with the requirements of ISO 641:1975
- Manufactured from 3.3 expansion borosilicate glass complying with ISO 3585 (ASTM E-438 Type 1 Class A)
- Provides an alternative method of connecting components that may be difficult to align (up to 15° from vertical alignment), or where a flexible joint is required instead of a more rigid conical joint that could come under strain and break.
- The inner surface of the joint has a leakproof super fine ground finish
- This type of joint is easier and quicker to separate than a conical (cone & socket) joint
- These spherical joints are manufactured with an approximate shank length of 100mm
