We're passionate about improving global health and well-being (SDG 3), and we do that by developing and supplying qualitative good and innovative products.
But that's not all - we also care about gender equality and creating a diverse workplace that provides opportunities for everyone (SDG 5). We're committed to reducing our environmental impact (SDG 13) and promoting sustainable practices throughout our supply chain (SDG 12). By working toward these goals, we can make a positive impact on the world while also ensuring the long-term success of our organization.
SDG 3: Health & Well-Being
Improving global health and well-being

SDG5: Gender Equality
Gender equality and creating a diverse workplace that provides opportunities for everyone
At DWK we value gender equality and create a diverse community by fostering an inclusive culture, education and equitable policies and practices. We make a point to create diverse and inclusive teams, and monitor progress and adjust if required. By taking these steps, DWK can promote gender equality, ensure fair and inclusive practices, build diverse teams, and create an environment that is welcoming and supportive to individuals of all genders, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, religions, abilities, and other identities.
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption
Responsible consumption
Glass is a durable and long-lasting material that can be recycled without losing its quality. This means that it has the potential to reduce waste and conserve natural resources when compared to single-use plastics. The production of glass does however require high energy inputs. The sustainability of glass is therefore a complex issue that depends on several factors such as the specific use case, the production process, and the end-of-life management of the material. DWK is committed to constantly enhancing energy efficiency and has been taking significant measures to achieve this goal. Our facilities of our melting operations (Mainz & Pula) have been ISO 50001 certified for over a decade, demonstrating our ongoing efforts to manage and improve our energy performance.
SDG 13: Climate Action
Climate action
DWK recognizes the urgency of climate action in light of the rapidly changing Earth's climate caused by human activity. The resulting effects, such as rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and biodiversity loss, could be dire, with far-reaching social, economic, and environmental implications that would impact present and future generations. Therefore, it is imperative to address these issues now to mitigate their adverse consequences.
We are committed to reducing our carbon emissions to mitigate the impacts of climate change and minimize our carbon footprint. This is important to ensure a sustainable future and preserve the health of our planet and its ecosystems for future generations.
ESG Topics
Environmental Social Governance (ESG) is all about doing business in a way that is good for the environment, society, and the company's governance by focusing on sustainability and ethical practices. DWK is comitted to prioritize ESG practices and principles.
