Named after the American chemist and engineer, Frank Austin Gooch, these crucibles are ideal for drying precipitates to a constant mass. Safety Notice: For high temperature ignition applications, use a furnace and slowly heat to 450°C maximum. Allow to cool below 200°C before removing from the furnace. This is to avoid any sudden change in temperature, which can result in thermal breakage.
