Product Overview
The glass body has an internal screw thread into which is fitted the silicone rubber sealing ring sheathed with PTFE. Tubing is pushed through the plastic screw thread fitting, which is then threaded onto the glass body. As the fitting is tightened, the sealing ring is compressed to form a seal between the tubing and the body. A further range of sealing rings suitable for use with the Torion joints are available as replacement parts. These can be used in place of the sealing ring provided to allow tubing of different diameters to be accommodated.
