The large hexagonal base with 3 studs in the base increases stability and prevents the cylinder from rolling away. The cylinders have an even wall thickness distribution over the entire measuring range so that wedge errors are avoided. For completion, either DURAN® hexagonal hollow plugs or PE plugs are used.
