- This device both securely clamps the vessel and lid together and holds the assembly in place using two clamping rods

Reaction vessels can be operated and heated in various ways. To prevent the reaction apparatus from moving during the test, the reaction vessel should ideally be suspended from a tripod linkage by means of a holding device. Cooling and heating media can thus be fed flexibly from below to the reaction vessel and removed again.
