DURAN® Evaporating Flask, 250 mL

with standard ground joint
  • Manufactured from 3.3 expansion borosilicate glass
  • The florentine pear shape gives these flasks a large liquid surface area allowing more rapid evaporation
  • Ideal for use with rotary evaporators
  • Tight closure due to standard ground joint
  • Fired-on, highly durable white print
Product Overview
Evaporating flasks are a variant of round flasks and have a florentine pear shape. The standard ground joint allows a precise connection to other ground joint components and they are ideal for use with rotary evaporators. Due to their shape, evaporating flasks allow a large uniform liquid surface area, making them particularly suitable for the rapid evaporation of solvents. Evaporating flasks are particularly suitable for evaporating liquids or solvents.
