DURAN® Woulff Bottle, Neck NS 24/29, 1000 mL

3 standard ground necks
  • Manufactured from 3.3 expansion borosilicate glass
  • Three standard ground joints for the connection to gas lines and a vacuum pump
  • The bottles are suitable for use under vacuum due to the wall thickness and geometry
  • Tight closure due to standard ground joint
  • Fired-on, highly durable white print
Product Overview
Woulff bottles can be used as part of vacuum apparatus as collecting vessels for solvents and for the washing of gases and dissolving them in solvents. The heavy wall contruction of these bottles means that they are suitable for vacuum applications and are often also used as an intermediate vessel to prevent spontaneous drop-off of the vacuum and the associated liquid suck-back into the vacuum pump. The Woulff bottle is used in vacuum apparatus and serves to collect, clean and/or dry gases.
