Product Overview
A separating funnel has the shape of an inverted pointed flask with a stopcock to drain the contents at its tip. In liquid-liquid extractions, the two immiscible liquids separate into different layers where the liquid with the higher density collects in the lower part of the vessel and can be drained off via the stopcock.
