Crude oil (also often called petroleum) is one of the most important raw materials and is used to manufacture a wide range of chemical products such as pharmaceuticals, fertilisers, solvents and plastics. Sample vessels and test methods must therefore meet the highest quality and regulatory standards. Using Lazer-Fused™ technology, markings and graduations are lasered onto the glass surface of the DURAN® oil centrifuge tubes. This provides excellent resistance to aggressive solvents and unsurpassed readability and line uniformity across the entire scale range. DURAN® oil centrifuge tubes are used for the determination of water and sediments in crude oils.
